Software-update for the DUO LNB

DUO PNB From April 23, 2007 proposes Canal Digital to anyone with a Philips DSR-2210 / 2211 / 2212 and Thomson TS4H satellite receivers a software update available. This new software ensures that you can make optimal use of the Canal Digital Duo LNB (in conjunction with receiving the 3-Astra satellite) and also lost in the Thomson TS4H the problem with picture and sound is not synchronized and the German broadcaster ZDF gives no sound.

Procedure Philips DSR 2210:

1. Put the satellite on BVN (preset 14)
2. Press the MENU button on the remote
3. Choose option 7 TECHNICAL INFORMATION
4. Then select option 2 for DECODER VERSION
5. If you have version 48, go to STEP 6 . If you have a version 50 or above, go to STEP 7
6. Now hold the power button on the front of the satellite 10 seconds until there is a red light will blink and then go to STEP 9
7. Then select option 3 NEW SOFTWARE Load
8. Button on the OK button
9. The switch from satellite and the display will, approximately 3 minutes long Continuous flashing a red light
10. When it stops flashing, the satellite will restart and the software update completed

CAUTION! When the flashing stops after 10 seconds, the software update not succeeded. Try it again later.
