In the week 47 Canal Digital has a security upgrade through its systems, but this time permanently. It soon turned out that the outdated ASTON 1.05 CI modules after this security upgrade no picture showed a few more channels. It was also with 1.03 but Aston Canal Digital has decided the temporary security measure and to avoid the issue. After contact with ASTON manufacturer has shown that these modules obsolete no longer be granted. These modules also can not be provided with new software and the manufacturer may not provide a solution. 

According ASTON is the only solution to replace the modules with a newer version Aston 1.7. This, for customers annoying problem, again stressed the need to dispose of old module and use of Canal Digital receivers and modules which adopted an official license and approval is given. None of the modules delivered by ASTON has this approval, and problems such as with version 1.05, can not be excluded. This problem is also found in combination with an old satellite receiver or media gourd built modules.
 
This issue make again problems with no picture in those modules and old satellite receivers.
